We wandered in and are exploring tentatively for the moment, a guy with a camera and the guy's lovely wife and muse. A camera is the quickest media, but watch also for pastels, pen-and-ink, colored pencils and charcoal works (if I ever get around to them) in the future.

Life is an education. Class doesn't cease till we're put in the ground--and then it's only recess. Certainly I am open to tactful critique and suggestions; actually, I crave input. This is how we learn. All I ask is that all comments are gentlemanly and polite in regards to any model in any of my images, particularly as our in-house model is the girl I married.

Thanks for your interest and comments!

Can I just say that I really appreciate that your photography, while featuring a lot of nudity, manages to stay away from the crass, sexual, objectifying end of the spectrum. While many of them portray sensuality, I think they do so in... a positive light. I don't know what I'm trying to say. I've been... upset recently with the way the media portrays women a nameless objects of sex. Impossibly thin and full breasted with faces you will never remember.
I am so very pleased that with your photography, I remember her face, probably more than I remember her body (she has a very lovely face, :) Tell her that.) She expresses sexuality, but not for the sake of itself. Not for the sake of other's pleasure. For the sake of art and for the sake of her own feelings as an artist. She looks like a real woman.
So, this may sound weird but I mean this very genuinely, your photography kind of renewed my faith in humanity a little. Made me realize that sexuality isn't inherently bad, its what you do with it that matters. I think I probably needed to hear that.
So, sorry, this message is probably a little weird, but I guess when it boils down to it, all I need to tell you is that I experienced something positive from your photography. So thank you for that.

Your gallery might be one of the very best I have seen on DA. Amazing shots you and your wife are creating.

I probably should have looked at your gallery before I wrote that critique. I saw the first image from the set and saw that you had requested a critique. After I wrote the critique, I saw the others and realized that you had already done what I suggested, in some of the other photos. It looks like you have it figured out, but you may need a more powerful flash and a diffuser.
You take some very nice photos. Keep up the great work.
